SUMMARY:Adult Learn-to-Ride Class
DESCRIPTION:This is a class for adults or teens who have either not yet learned how to ride a bike\, or learned a long time ago but want a refresher.\n\n\nThis is a class for adults or teens who have either not yet learned how to ride a bike\, or learned a long time ago but want a refresher on the basics of balancing\, pedaling and steering. Our trained instructors are friendly\, patient\, and will help you get off to a great start in a safe\, non-judgmental environment. \n \nA working bicycle is required in order to participate in this class. A limited number of bikes are available to rent for $30. We prefer that attendees bring their own equipment\, so please only request a rental if you do not have access to a bike. Any rentals require a reservation. \n \nThis workshop has a very low student-to-teacher ratio. If the class is full\, you can be added to the wait list or be notified about future sessions as they are added. \n \n— \nThis class is made possible through funding by the Alameda County Transportation Commission.
