We need your help to speak up and save the trail! \nTo email your comments now\, please send them to publiccomment@bcdc.ca.gov with the subject “August 7\, 2025\, BCDC meeting public comment – agenda item 9 – Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Pilot Project Modifications Project”. \nClick here for recommended talking points. \nComments will also be accepted in-person at the meeting\, or virtually via Zoom. \n\nOver the past year we have been assembling a massive coalition in opposition to the closure including more than 5000 petition signers\, more than 80 community organizations and non-profits\, and five local boards and councils who have all voted unanimously to keep the path open including: \n\nRichmond City Council\nAlbany City Council\nBerkeley City Council\nWest Contra Costa Transportation Commission\nBay Trail Board\n\nWe are hopeful that BCDC members will vote to keep the trail open\, abiding by the group’s charter which protects and prioritizes “maximum feasible public access” to the bay shoreline. But we still need your help to get this campaign over the finish line. \n\nHere are some things you can do now:\n\nSend an email comment now to publiccomment@bcdc.ca.gov with the subject “August 7\, 2025\, BCDC meeting public comment – agenda item 9 – Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Pilot Project Modifications Project”.
